NRL Game Development Update

Please note the following information updates regarding NRL Game Development: 1. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the NRL have directed a high proportion of staff to take leave effective today 24 March and concluding Friday 1 May. This includes all NRL Game Development Officers, NRL State Coordinators, and NRL Regional and State Managers. 2. While all NRL Game Development programs and courses are now postponed and new timelines and dates will need to be created for any future commencement of activity, expired and unaccredited coaches will still have the opportunity to complete the free online accreditation for the new Community Coaching Courses. The current postponement of competitions will allow coaches to complete modules and ensure that when competitions do recommence, they are covered by insurance and able to starting coach again immediately (see details below). Below are the key links to these FREE online coaching course opportunities : E-Learning Modules  Coaches complete the age appropriate E- learning modules prior to start coaching.  Coaches can access this at any time, at zero cost, without having to register to a Face to Face Workshop.  After completion of the age appropriate course, the coach attends a face to face workshop – these will be made active again once we have returned to normal working duties.
